APPLYING FOR A GRANT
 
Applications for the 2010 round of grants are currently being accepted. To apply for funding from the SHINE A LIGHT NARRATIVE THERAPY RESEARCH FUND, please submit an application including:

A Proposal of up to 5 single-spaced pages that includes:
  • Project goals
  • Information about how this project meets funding goals and criteria
  • An outline of why there is a need for this research and how it will contribute to the body of knowledge about Narrative Therapy
  • A detailed plan that includes the research design and tools, evaluation plan for the research, as well as a timeline for each milestone and completion of the project, such as recruitment, training (if needed), intervention, data collection, analysis, and preparing manuscripts or other aspects of dissemination
  • Ethics clearance or review status (if applicable)
  • A plan of how the results of the research will be disseminated (publications, web-base access, community intervention, presentations, etc.
A detailed budget clearly and separately identifying cost of service delivery vs. staffing, office and other support materials, evaluation and/or research, travel and incidentals. Details should also be provided about any matching support from one's home institution or other sources. Letters of support from agencies or organizations partnering with the project lead or providing support for the project (if applicable).

Additional documentation should include:
  • Identification of the lead project manager as well as the contact persons in each additional organization/agency that is partnered with the project leader
  • Curriculum Vitae or resume of the primary investigator(s) or project leader
  • Curriculum Vitae or resume of co-researchers
  • Listing of possible future related research/projects
